I got me one of these Guild Starfire Jet 90's. My only complaint was the tuning machines; there was a lot of play in like two of the 6. I decided to replace it with some Wilkinson Vintage Tuners, but the were just a bit too large for a direct replacement. I filed them down but I didn't get it...

Building an amp? No sir. I can’t follow a recipe, much less a circuit schematic. I’ll have to see if the 10 has an attenuator. I could get an external, I guess.

Honestly, I‘ve almost pulled the trigger on this amp a couple of times. My only reservation is that I’d have to spend another couple hundred bucks on a good attenuator to make it crackle at a level that doesn’t harm my hearing

These look amazing! I don’t see too many on reverb. Are they hard to come by?

The most I could spend would be around 1k. Maybe just a bit more. Maybe a screamer or a reverb pedal but I like to keep it simple. No effects loop necessary. Thank you

I’m looking into small tube amps. I got my first really nice guitar (JP mirror tele) and I’d like to match it with a high quality amp. I may play out, or with friends occasionally, but 99% of the time I would be playing at home. I have some hearing damage already, so it would probably have to be...
