Hey guys! Here's another one! The damn Vintage Overdrive, a tubescreamer clone...This thing got sound One day I tried one as a joke (I already have a tubescreamer) and I was impressed, so I had to buy one just to make this demo to do justice to the pedal. 30 €, you know, can't say no to that...

Do you run the amp clean?

Cool! i'm planning to make a tele with similar pickguard e control plate...but normal headstock and double humbacker like jeff beck once had (or still has?) i already have to many guitars with just one pickup ( and one is a tele) maybe one day I'll get one of these beauties

I'm sure this has been brought up a milion time but... Maybe is not everybody's taste, but this thing to me is adoration material! The custom shop are just too much money for what these guitars are though. What do you think?

Thanks to everyone! I'm glad you appreciate me nerding out about pedals :) Soon I'll review The joyo Vintage Overdrive, a tube screamer clone, and then I'll blind test it against the original... That should be cool! the clones are here fellow humans!

the Tube screamer goes pretty well in front of the joyo american sound... there are videos demonstrating just that, chek them out

You're right...whenever I can I do that and then use the volume on the guitar to adjust the amount of saturation... Unfortunately I still need walls and windows in my house so I couldn't demonstrate this...:D

The ultimate drive is definitely worth it man! Check this out, I made sort of a review about it...and I also use it stacked with a Tube Screamer! right now it is my fav pedal

Yes and no...I wouldn't really say that the ac tone has a speaker emulation circuit. It has some sort of voicing but the range of frequency that come out of the joyo is very dissimilar from the range that comes from a guitar speaker inside a cab. Guitar speakers are not high fidelity speakers...

Hey guys! This time I tried to go directly into the computer...well the dry sound is not that appealing to me...but with a cab impulse it's impressive what you can get out of this pedal!

I'll keep that in mind if I need to negotiate!

I've also made a direct input test comparing the sound with what you can get using cab impulses... Some sounds are nice some others not so much...
