They truly do not! Everything works on it too. I think tunes have only been replaced once it's entire life. Made at the old Gibson plant in Michigan.

I switched out two of the knobs that were very loose and put them on my epiphone sg and vice versa. Its a great sounding amp. No overdrive but very clean mids .the reverb is beautiful and the vibrato pedal is fun to mess with

Hi there out in telecaster world. Bought this 20th anniversary squire telecaster a few months back. Has a MIM pickup in neck and fender classic tele pickup in bridge. Love this guitar and haven't been able to put it down since I got it. Would like to put a pearl white pickguard on it though.

Yours is an 03 according to serial number. Mine is an 02 and it's a 22 fret . Still, awesome guitars!

Know this is an old thread but wanted to comment. I bought an 02 squire telecaster standard a few months ago. Sparkle red with a mirrored guard. Has a mim tele pickup in the neck and a classic tele in the bridge. LOVE thus guitar. 20th anniversary and last yr of the standard line.
