The guitar is really a pleasure to play. The neck is fast and smooth, the ebony fingerboard is marvelous and pickups are very versatile.
I need to discover it more but no regrets at all: much better than some CS Fender tested before ordered this guitar.
Hello,
Ordered al long time ago and delivered only now, between 2022 christmas and the beginning of 2023, my new Tele is here !
This time, it is not a Fender Telecaster... but a Telecaster made by a french luthier called Tom Marceau (located in the Bretagne region of France).
I wanted it to be...
Hello friends,
Unintended NGD because I was not looking for a new Telecaster but sometimes a (good) surprise come up...
Initially, yesterday, I was visiting my local reseller to buy an analog delay pedal when I saw this beauty in her tweed case on the desk.
I ask to try it. They said that they...
Don't worry: neighbors are far away from me and, luckily, the nearest are old earing impaired persons.
Nevertheless, I play my TMTR at home with the 12W settings (it can be already loud) or even 5W settings if wife and childrens are at home.
Volume cranked between 4 and 5 and I give it some...
Mine, delivered to me in october 2021, already 1 year ago, was delivered with Ruby tank too and with JJ tubes.
The dealer said that Ruby tanks came from USA and JJ from Europe and are easier to obtain at the factory than Chinese tubes & tank because of the COVID crisis in China.
It is a good...
Hello friends,
I am very happy with my VOX AC15C1 to play blues & classic rock but this amp is not very suited to play surf and jazz tones.
When going to buy strings for my guitars last Sathurday, the shop have 2 Tone Master series Fender amps to try ... the Deluxe and the Twin.
A small...
I saw it friday night, here, in France.
Whaou ! What a movie !
Tom Hank is awesome camping the "bad guy" Colonel Tom Parker, Austin Buttler completely credible as Elvis, and the movie's photography is very beautiful.
Definitively a great movie that I will view again with pleasure.
Hello,
Today, I buy a strap for this Telecaster... with the Miami Blue color, it is not easy to find a strap that suit the color.
Finally, I found it in the Fender catalog : it is the Houndstooth Jacquar Strap in Teal color.
At first, I was thinking about a D'Addario Autolock strap in midnight...
Hello mikecorey,
The speaker remain the original Seventy-80 for the moment. I decided to let it a chance, patiently breaking / bruning it and afterwards only my ears will told the verdict : keep or change.
Nevertheless, I will certainly change tubes in V1 and/or V2 to calm the Ultra Gain channel.
Bonjour à tous les amis adorateurs de Telecaster en France et autres pays francophones.
J'ouvre un club pour "nous"... la langue Française est de rigueur...
Hello,
I am happy to introduce to you Josephine (mainly because of Chris Rea's song...) : a Fender Stratocaster American Pro II, in Miami Blue, maple neck.
Owning 2 Telecaster, it is my very first Stratocaster... and really like it.
I simply ask the seller to update it with 6 Fender all short...
Hello,
Even if I am sold to VOX & in love with my AC15C1, I need an amp with "modern" features : playable clean, crunch and classic overdrive with only a Telecaster straight to the amp, without pedal, volume compatible with a domestic use in the family house, capability to enter a MP3 signal...
Hello,
It is not a real NAD because I own this amp since several weeks but, even if it is not the most versatile, it is the one I like to play the most : it sounds soooo emotional !
It is my amp of choice when I want to play for the pleasure. Jazz, blue, surf, classic rock and rockabilly sounds...
Thanks guys. Both are a real pleasure to play. They got each their personnality, more vintage for the blue, more rock for the blonde... a perfect match with both the Vox AC15C1 and the Marshall DSL20CR that I just start to discover (and it sounds very good too even if my heart is sold to the Vox)
Hello friends,
A small update to my 2019 LTD American Pro Telecaster today...
Fender mounted knurled rounded top volume/tone buttons (made in USA, Fender Pure Vintage catalog part reference is 0095799049) that are from the 60's ... but they install a round modern plastic tip on the 3-ways...
Thinking trading my Fender Mustang GTX100 (that I almost never play since I got the Vox AC15C1) to a Marshall Origin 50C combo... The power reduction capability of the Marshall seems to be a perfect option in order to practice & do some musical research at low volume...
Thanks ! Yes, I saw it and post a reply. Nevertheless, no need for a car to feel at home (Since august 2020, on the week-end, I rode a yellow Corvette C7 Z06, so... for cars, I am not at home) when we got a Telecaster and friends...music is kind of things that is "frontier less".
In France, this car, the 2CV was revolutionary when launched (the first car with 4 independants wheels suspensions).
It is now a legend & the value goes up because it is difficult to find one in a perfect condition.
The most valued are the earliest and the special series (like the Charleston)...
You got hawk eyes ;)
Yes, the vinyl machine is a Rega P6 with a Rega Exact cartridge. Electronics are Naim Audio (you can see an Uniti Nova) and speakers are Harbeth P3ESR 40th Anniversary Limited Edition. Yes, I like english hifi
I just simply a email to the US support... and they politely replied with the requested informations : my own was made in june 2019, one of the lastest 233 produced.
