Okay, so here is the new supplier for electroform stickers. Contact them through Alibaba.com. The company is called:
Shenzhen Changsheng Logo Co.,Ltd
Contact is Andy Zhu
You want their "metal sticker" product.
There is no minimum and one A4 sized sheet of stickers is $20 for silver and $25...
Looks like some cold war antagonist tried to plant some fake info in the thread, but the admins intercepted. Good work!
I will check with the company to make sure the prices and quantities are still good.
I just don't know honestly. Try it and see! I'm pretty sure that the epoxy will stick to PVC but if you want to test it out, just get a piece from a home center. Also, you can get pickguard material on eBay for much less than the bigger retailers. I just got a sheet big enough for a three ply P...
Epoxy is an excellent adhesive so you could use it to adhere it, however, I would make it on clear acrylic or lexan for a true tortoise shell look. I think putting the tortoise shell on a laminated pickguard might look odd at the edges.
I just removed the hardwired speaker cable and replaced it with a speaker out jack so I could use the head with my OX box. Now, only channel one works properly! Lol!
Just a suggestion but you left a lot of the blade exposed between the tape. I would reapply the tape so that only a little extra space is on either side of the dents when scraping. And I would change it for each size dent.
Yeah, I sent him an email a couple weeks ago and haven't heard back. Looked on here and saw it had been some time. Didn't know he sold his stuff. Sad...

Anybody heard from Herb recently?
I'm in Burbank, if you bring it over, I can fix it but I'm about to go into the hospital so it might take a bit.
There is absolutely no reason to let this person off. At least do a Yelp review and include pictures.
That is the stuff I was talking about. There is very little smell compared to the regular Solarez. Much easier to use as it sands far easier. You do need a light scuff sand between coats though for clear coats.
Regarding the UV lamps, I was only talking about using the UV lights to cure the...
Great work Lisa. I've been playing with this Solarez UV lacquer substitute called "I Can't Believe It's Not Lacquer." Very little smell, stays wet until you take it into sunlight, then cures in a couple minutes. That's right, minutes. Sands and polishes easily. Works as a grain fill as well as a...
I think it is amazing for what I'm using it for, (late night pickup demos.) There isn't an attenuator out there that doesn't affect the tone a bit, but this is pretty amazing. The cabinet modeling is impressive to say the least and the editability to create your own "rigs" complete with reverb...
