Interesting. Thank you. The Bassman 10 schematic shows this as well. Who'd've thought? Cool.
What's a Bassman 10 rated for? 50 watts?
And what are those magnets? Alnico? Ceramic?
Hi there,
Am not sure what amp these came out of (each @ 32 ohms):
Vintage 1970s Fender CTS blue label 10-inch, 32 ohm
And, is that square magnet a ceramic? Slightly confusing as I know some alnico magnets are square-shaped but this pair's composition just look ceramic to me.

Like I said, I get it. It's just frustrating for people who own old amps trying to restore them. I can purchase a tail logo for my Pro Reverb but not an appropriate tube chart.
Ya, I get the deal with the BF face plates (BF front panels?) you're talking about. Just thought they would take down those guys sooner than the guy doing something (tube charts) most wouldn't care about.
But ya, I get it. It's still part of the Fender branding... you'd think there's a market...
Yes. I went searching through my parts stash and found an envelope with a return address having a name of Jayne (presumably Peter's wife) on it. Alas, only a Deluxe Reverb tube chart was to be found... I'll see if he responds to that email you've provided; it *is* an ancient AOL-domained...
Not sure my printer's going to be up to the task (it's an OLD HP inkjet from 20 years ago) to get the clarity I need, but "beggars can't be choosers"/"can't look a gift horse in the mouth." :)
No rush! Happy you can help! 🙏
Thanks for the offer, that would be great! I don't require a date stamp, nor the production number nor handwritten 'A'.
FWIW, besides the font/distances being wrong, I think the paper that eBay'er is using looks terrible...IMO of course. :)
Hey there,
Anyone know where I can get a non-aged tube chart for a blackface Pro Reverb? There's a seller on eBay that has some available but he only makes them aged. I'd prefer it non-aged. I asked him if he could do it without aging and he refused.
Years ago, there was a fellow in Ontario...
Hi all,
Have a clone of an ORST I am considering to build. I'm currently sourcing parts and vendors and am wondering who I can contract for building me a head sleeve for it?
Have worked with Mather 10 years ago, like their work on some Fender cabs but not sure if they do Orange?? I'll contact...
Yup, I went through Noojwat and he was responsive to me until I paid. Unfortunately, now it's crickets...
Does that ebay seller go by the handle "1032canter1961" or is there some other eBayer I'm not seeing?
Anyone know where I can get a nice repro faceplate for a blackface Pro Reverb?
And a rear panel for a blackface Super Reverb/Pro Reverb/Vibroverb?
Thanks!
Hi all,
I have a question on the chassis size of a 1973 Pro Reverb. More specifically, about the rear panel dimensions/holes.
Someone drilled additional holes into my Pro Reverb's rear black aluminum panel (before I acquired it, actually!). I'm wondering if a BF/early SF Super Reverb rear...
There's a private forum I frequent that had a really great write up on the history of Epiphone in the '60s. It addresses especially the consideration of pricing and will be invaluable to those that weren't around or don't remember Gibson US-made Epiphones. I thought it was very well written and...
IMO, it's not so much "high-end" as much as it's a Gibson, which is what the originals were. No more, no less.
Everyone is comparing the price of this new Casino to the 330. (I can see why as they're nearly identical.) But I really don't think so for a few reasons:
1. Isn't the 330 a Custom...
