Sounds like it should, I adjusted the mini to the settings I like on the real thing with a Tele. The LED is a bit too bright but it's not worth the hassle of desoldering the CLR resistor and putting in a higher value.
I've purchased a lot of different Tele pickups, all the big names, DiMarzio, Duncan, Fralin, and also some "boutique" ones, and none have been any better than the Bootstrap Extra Crispy for Tele pickups I have in my mutt partscaster. I see many here have the Pretzel's and like them just as...
I wish you well and hope you are able to overcome it. Alcohol (over)use and addictions seem to be prevalent with us musical types, I've lost more than one band mate over alcohol or opioids. Our old band from the 80's-2000's are playing a gig next month in honor of our bass player, my best...
Nice to see other collectors, I've been known to overdo collections in my life including guitars, knives, watches and Zippo lighters, never mind the records and CDs ;)
I look at my collections some times and think, I really should sell that, what does a former Scoutmaster need with a Chris...
I carry a traditional slip joint every day, everywhere, except of course the airport or any place they want to confiscate it, ain't getting one of my Great Eastern, Schatt & Morgan, Case, Queen, Boker, Canal Street or Buck knives! Since I have a desk job I carry a Peanut, Lancer or other small...
Thankfully the Pcb designer has a drill template that’s accurate to scale, otherwise I’d have more than a few wasted LB enclosures!
I’m looking forward to making the decal sticker for this one, so much faster than waterslides.
Ready for wiring, glad I took the picture and noticed I forgot the protection diode!
The low profile sockets didn't fit, the pins are too thick. There will be no opamp rolling through this unfortunately. A regular socket wouldn't fit under the hood, I may even need to bend the 2N7000's over...
I haven’t yet but they seem just the ticket for a 250/D+. Spiral Electric used them in one of their ODs, I just can’t remember which one right now. Found it: https://www.spiralelectricfx.com/collections/typhoon-edition/pedals
I have low profile sockets coming soon, I think I might be able to sneak one in there. I’m using the original Zendrive chip, NE5532, rather than than the Analog Devices AD712 or Burr Brown OPA2604 because of cost $$ and I have a 5532 lol. I may try an LM1458 since I’ve seen that in early...
More 1590LB fun, this time with a Zendrive clone. I'll be drilling holes in the bottom of this one to get at the four trimmers more easily.
Everything is a tight fit, these LB builds aren't for the beginning builder, low parts counts aside. The low profile electrolytics needed a little...
I hear you, this past Sunday I rehearsed with the band I played with for years, mid-1980's through the early 2000's. We were all starting and raising families then, busy with other things though we all played with other bands and saw each other at different gigs. I played with a few other bands...
It's like the MOD kit builds on tag strips which are a lot of fun, but not really practical. I posted a pic of two MOSFET boosts in my tiny pedal thread as a comparison between the 1590LB and 1590BB with nearly the same circuit. If pedal board real estate is important then the MOD Piledriver...
