    I like it simple: mainly gig with a Fender Princeton, and I use a small pedal board with a Carbon-Copy delay, an MXR Chorus, and a Tube-Screamer. Small enough to carry in one trip.

    Various banjos including a 1926 Tubaphone, and a custom five-string by Kevin Enoch.

    I play electric guitar in a 12-piece and called "The Knights of Cabiria," I play guitar and banjo in a trio with violin and bass, and i play banjo in an old-time band called "The Dump Chickens." The wife and I run a community music school where I teach guitar and banjo, and I also teach in the music department at Illinois State University. I like to canoe, camp, raise daughters, and go into the zone by playing music with friends.
