I've read people on the nextdoor app that are so fed up they think about rigging up something that will almost kill the thief. You've got to remember, this is property theft, you can't kill or maim someone for stealing a catalytic converter.

Cordless sawzall, I have several of them. I have a motorhome parked in my backyard, and I etched my license plate and state into it, and painted it orange. Thieves love motorhome converters, because they're huge. In fact a lot of motorhome lots and storage yards end up with tens of them stolen...
