The subject of the paranormal no longer interests me, other than as a study in the odd things that people sometimes believe.

One could call me closed minded, but I consider myself to be quite open minded, and having looked at both sides, made the decision that makes the most sense to me.

Nothing wrong with that. Once in a while I'll read a book like that, but these days I'm usually either reading about canoes or about physics or philosophy. I burned out on the weird stuff. Lately, I'm into fiction with James Fenimoore Cooper's Leatherstocking Tales. I'm reading them in order of Natty Bumppo's life and about to start, "The Pathfinder".

I've experienced a near death experience, an "out of body" experience, and one episode of Deja Vu myself.

Strange as these events were, I have since realized that they were simply delusional episodes brought on by drugs and/or temporary lack of oxygen to the brain, and nothing more.

I've had episodes that I'm sure stemmed from insults to the brain caused by dumb stuff that I did. But I've had a couple that make me wonder, too. Take a look at "Consciousness Beyond Life" by Dr. Pim van Lommel, M.D. He presents some findings with documented cases of people knowing things that they could not have known without actually having been out of their bodies and such. It's pretty interesting.

Thanks for the links to the book, but I was hoping for evidence, rather than more claims.

      Take care!
