hey there, i saw your thread on adding a tone knob to a 5f1 circuit and id like to do the same.I have the 5f1 kit from mojotone. Did you just wire the champ as if it was a princeton? or is there a better/ easier way to go about it. I've worked with electronics a decent amount, just looking for a bit of direction from someone who has already successfully completed this project.
      thanks for your time!

        Hi Shane.
I initially wired it exactly like a tweed Princeton and put the tone knob in one of the input jack holes. Then I removed the pot and installed a resistor so it's kinda like a tweed Princeton, but preset at a fixed value. It's really just a 500pF bright cap and a 220k resistor in series attached to the volume control now. It sounds great!
