  • Hi there. I must have bought it from the guy you sold it to. I got it in November. I'm kind of a rookie (at my advanced age) on electric and amps (I'm a gigger on solo fingerstyle acoustic.). I don't even really know what the switch does. What I know is that it can produce the most amazing clean sound that I've yet heard. So, any history would be greatly appreciated.

Jenn: OK then. I'm looking for the document I sent to your seller, as this amp has quite an interesting history. If you can contact me at [email protected], I tell you what I know. It's a few too many words for this page.

    Hi Mad Dog,
Quick question for you. In a post, you mentioned that you had a Wampus Cat with a cathode switch. Mine does as well, and I'm wondering if it's you that I bought it from. Serial number: Joe Bob. If so, I just want to thank you again for it. I'm truly loving it!
    Best wishes,

Jenn: Yes, that one was mine. Did you buy it from me, or from the guy I sold it to? That is an outrageously tasty and ballsy amp. One of the first Wampus cats Doug made. Do you know the history of it? I could tell you more. That's a rare and cool one!
