I have an overdrive, fuzz, and compressor on my pedal board but only have found a use for the overdrive, just to add some edge; I love that sound.
I like the "classic" looking bases but some basses I see today look fugly to me. The ones that have 7 knobs are particularly unattractive to me....
Anything by Muse or Rage Against the Machine is fun to play bass on.
I love Orange amps, I own a tiny terror and it rocks. I played a CR120 at guitar center and really liked it too. Good stuff.
There are only 2 cons I can think of with an AC15: the weight and the lack of headroom. The C1 I had weighed about 50 lbs, not a big deal to me...

I don't have any of those Bogner pedals but I do have the Burnley distortion pedal. It is an AWESOME distortion pedal; it just rips.
I tried an Orange CR120 last week, very nice sounding amp.
I have a twang king in the neck of my Tele. I don't play country, but I think it's a really nice pick up. Very clear sounding.
