2 Fender G-Dec(s) for fun, various guitars - too many in reality.
    WOW, where to start -

I feel like a kid, but can see retirement on the horizon. In general life has been good, educational, inspirational and at times depressing - that's life.

I've always had a love for music and the guitar, but never had the opportunity to have a guitar until I graduated high school, got a job and paid for it myself. Not complaining, it's just the way it was. A guitar just wasn't in the budget, in fact most things weren't. Anyway, once I had the guitar, I needed to learn to play it. Well, that has since been a struggle as work and life put certain interests and hobbies on hold, nearly indefinitely.

Now that I'm a bit older, have steady income and a bit more time, I've continued my interest in the guitar. Over the years have built numerous guitars, modified even more, done repairs, set-ups and a host of other things for others who actually play the guitar, but often lacked mechanical abilities to do such things.

While I am "learning" to play, and will continue to do so til the end, I find myself as more of a mechanic, than the driver. That's okay, it is what it is.

I've frequented this site for years, would look around for tips or tricks, and had taken my time at becoming an actual member. I don't rush into things it seems.

    Signature

I am often mistaken for someone else, but rarely as myself. – ic
