Figure shipping an amp is going to be about $40. At your estimate of 5%, that would mean that you're looking at an $800 amp. Now if I was selling a $2000 amp, I would cover $40 for shipping...but not $100. I guess the guy could have replied.
ps...I edited this. Thank you AAT65
I'd say you made the right decision. I have a last year of production '17 AV52 Tele. I went through five total Tele's before finding the one I liked. I prefer 9.5 to 7.25. I'd rather have 6105 frets also. Those two details were not dealbreakers. But my one and only gripe is the "over-rolled...
Yup...it's a plywood body. They made a T style and a S style. Yours has a "hockey stick" headstock. Epi also made a few with the cool "batwing" headstock. Not bad for what they are. I always get a chuckle out of the Gibson truss rod cover. Enjoy!
imho it's more like 18.7%. I just paid $4.70 for a dozen of store brand eggs. Gas is going back up. Heating oil is already $4.50 to almost $5.00 a gallon. My little 401K is down 30G. I guess the 8.7% increase I'll be getting is better than nothing.
Thank the man above they don't mention "rolled edges". I love my '17 AV52 but hate those rolled edges.
All things considered; I think the prices are reasonable.
That '61 Strat in Olympic White...yeah baby!
I say right when you're standing but the ladies might disagree. I'm left-handed, but play a right-handed guitar so what do I know. I also like playing a right-handed right strung guitar left-handed too sometimes. Maybe I'm dyslexic.
Haha! Not really. As to your OP... any LP is better than no LP and that's a sweet '61 SG ya got. I do have an old P90 GC Epi Special that has the rounded neck profile. I would have scored one of those '61's but for the SlimTaper neck. Sorry, I couldn't resist.
