  • Hey, I don't think we've interacted directly, but I owe you one just the same! My cheap old TS5 developed a flaky switch, and I was able to fix it by changing two caps in the switching circuit to larger ones per an old post of yours. So, thanks! :^)
I'm currently trying to replace the foot switch for my friends joyo tremelo. I've disconnected the wiring board altogether. I was also going to ditch the LED and just wire it directly to a solder-lug 3PDT or I guess even DPDT would be more appropriate.

But my question is I cant figure out which wire goes to what. Do you have any recollection as to the wiring layout for that ribbon cable by chance??

Hi, sorry but I dont own the pedal anymore. I remember making a drawing where each wire went before I dis-assembled it.
If you already just took off all the wires without making a note of where they go then I'm afraid thats going to be difficult. I would scour the web for gut shots and see if you can find a good image of the pedal. Sorry I cant be of more help. :( Good Luck!
Hello there, I know this is a bit of a long shot, but I just came across a forum from a couple years ago where in regards to Joyo pedals, you wrote, "I highly recommend replacing the tacked on, ultra thin wires that connect the footswitch to the PCB with better [stronger] wire or ribbon cable and use the through-holes instead of just tacking them on"
