Who is the best at Re coning a Jensen

I'll check that out. I used a replacement speaker as a place holder and boxed the original , preparing to ship it to Orange County, that then found they had stopped coning . Its been years now....

Is it the speaker repair pros noted above. Yes the voice coil is the variable. Different materials , different weights , different performance. So sure All I know is its a 4 ohm. I'll see if I can pull a model number off of it. Its on the frame , haven't looked at it in a while, its packed up...

This cone is toast. Its already been , "repaired". I've had access to all the best advice, but the voice coil has a rub as well. Its time to go. Its out of an early 50s GA50 T , its the 8" the 12" has already been coned. The 8" rolled on for a while but then developed the rub. So it gots ta get...

I have no doubt its doable , I'm a tech. I would need the kit. I know that at one time Jensen kits were NOS only, it was a trick to find them. Has that changed ?

TV Front/Wide Panel- would these cabs sound different or weight more?

I've got a TV front Deluxe in pine , very light . Stick with pine and it will be as light as you could hope for.

    Soldering shielding cans

Hey folks, happy turkey day n' all... So I've been at this for a long time and have at least 4 soldering irons in my shop but: I have to solder pickup covers and potentiometer shielding cans now and again. I've been using my soldering station at its highest temp. and that works , but what do you...

    Vibrasonic speaker swap..

Used this on a little gig last night , I think the Faital has a bit too much high end for the sound I'm looking for. More a PA application or Bass guitar perhaps..... Usable but not Ideal...

What's your rig? You get 1 amp, 1 guitar, and 1 pedal.

Custom Vibrasonic, heavily modded GB10 with built in humbuckers and delay pedal.

    Vibrasonic speaker swap..

Installed that Faital Pro today. Interesting , brighter than the Emi EVO clone for sure ! Its going to change as I get some hours on it. I'll drag it out to a gig , see how it does. Its at least 10 pounds lighter than the Emi... Feels much more manageable. I can one hand it now. Its down to...

    Vibrasonic speaker swap..

I've only got one Neo an Emi in a Deluxe. Its running fine, but its a low power amp that doesn't see a ton of use. Think I should be OK with the Neo . I'm not blasting away. But I like the idea of a stout power capacity. I would think that my program volume would peak above the 150 watt rating...
