Wiring Diagram: Tele 4-way switch with DPDT - reverse control plate

This is my proposed wiring diagram for a tele-style build. It features a reversed control plate orientation, a 4-way switch (to allow both series and parallel wiring configurations), a DPDT switch to allow phase reversal for the neck pickup, and two other non-standard features: First, the tone pot is connected on the output side of the volume pot (sometimes called "'50s wiring" or the "Fezz Parka/Ted Greene" mod). Second, the volume input/output lugs are switched from typical wiring (sometimes done on guitars with multiple, independent volume controls).

Looks good but can you explain, please, the thinking behind this wiring? What were you aiming for; can you describe what differences/sounds you want to achieve?
      Thanks!
