P-J bass not a Squier anymore
This one started as a basic Squier P-Bass that had been refinished (poorly) before it got to me. A friend wanted a bass for his kid so I build this one for him. Mods include: adding the Jazz pickup at the bridge, upgrading the bridge to a high mass, moved the output jack to the side, filled and re-routed some of the control cavity to fit standard Fender pickguard, made new pickguard from black acrylic, Fender Mexican pups, slimmed down the headstock, replaced a couple, really worn frets and gave it a nice fret job. And of course gave it a nice dose of Burnt Copper Metallic.
