The back of the neck looks absolutely Gorgeous. BTW do you know a guitar player named ' Riccardo Gioggi ' ? I think he plays the same exact model.

Beautiful guitar. Ibanez has been doing amazing guitars for decades and this one looks like a classic. It will be a great design even 30 years from now.

I have had a JS1200 for about 7 years and have been an Ibanez fan for 30. I don't get to play it as much as my Tele and SG because my rock band demands the aesthetics of the more classic guitars (the bright red Ibanez doesn't fit with the image, I guess). But that guitar is NO QUESTION ABSOLUTE BEST PLAYING GUITAR I OWN! Don't get me wrong, I love my Fenders and Gibsons, but that Ibanez is like driving a Formula One racecar- slick and fast! It is also super versatile. With the coil tapping on the two humbuckers, it's like playing a souped-up Fender Strat with great PAFs. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the Edge tremolo. Otherwise, it's pretty much the most amazingly versatile and easy-playing guitar I've ever seen.

I posted this same thread on jemsite ibanez forum and I've had only a couple of replys. They're prestige mad( japan )and seem to loath Indonesian models (premium) . It's like fender usa vs mim models. They'res goodness to be had both sides I believe

Mine has the Edge Pro (which was standard on the JS models for many years), and not the original Edge. Even so, it's a great tremolo, I just hardly ever use it. It's so sensitive that when I bend (which is a lot), I have to keep my right hand on the trem to keep the note in tune. My main player is an SG which of course doesn't have this issue. I've always wanted to get one of the hardtail JS6 mahogany models, but they're super hard to find. I think that would truly be my perfect guitar.
