I can’t have a serious conversation with someone wearing a flat bill baseball cap. Yup, that is called profiling.

I wear low-profile curved billed baseball caps, but the first requirement is no logo. Tough to find these days.

Working outside on the property, it is a straw cowboy hat in the summer, waxed cotton cowboy hat for spring and Fall and a felt cowboy hat for winter, weddings and funerals.

Just a fair dinkum Australian Akubra flat-brimed hat to keep that cancer-causing sun away

This is a hat which if done properly the rim is most likely steamed to the proper shape. This thread is talking about baseball caps which 19 out of twenty are too small to fit me. I think the rim of baseball caps should be curved to shape. Other opinion’s may vary. If you really want to protect your head and ears from the sun wear a hat. In the summer a light weight and in the winter felt. Shape of your choice.

I like to show my white locks, but when I cap it with a lid, I like to shade my scope just right. So curve that sweat lined brim or bill, till it works for you - this ain't no beauty contest boys, it's all about protecting your peeps.

I’ve always rolled my caps. There was a time in the late ‘60s that I did the tri-fold thing. It was cool at the time.

If someone wants to wear a flat brim that’s cool with me.

That flat brim looks one of the least “rock” things I can imagine. Not even slightly appealing.
I’ve worn baseball caps for many years, going back to one of my first visits to the USA back in the ‘90s (I wore a Cardinals cap from a 1991 road trip for many years). Despite not being a native of the baseball lands I enjoy baseball and have been to games from New York to San Diego and many points between, and owned team-logo’d caps from many of those places.
However in recent years I’ve switched to Sealskinz caps, which are similar in style but waterproof - so the same hat does me for good weather and bad. I am pleased to say they have a stylishly curved brim. :)

I've got two caps... my old yard cap, a JD Racing one, free from the pub... curved with age.. though it probably started that way new...

and my old Dad's flat cap..... I usually wear that one going out and about..

Eh! Dad's hat, I'm off to the shops, wanna come? .:)
