Selling my mid-1990s Peavey Classic 50 410 amp and matching 410e extension cabinet. These are the desirable and increasingly rare early generation Classic series from Peavey, made in the USA. All original speakers (8 of them), tubes are fresh within the last few years and still have plenty of life. Sounds fantastic and provides an incredibly loud wall of sound. Comes with a Hosa switch to change channels and turn the reverb on/off. It's missing one chicken head knob from when I bought the amp. They're like $2.25 a piece, I just never bothered to pick one up.
Cosmetically the amp is in pretty good shape. The tweed has a few bumps and bruises here and there, but it looks really good and is functionally perfect. I purchased the cabinet from a touring musician and it's seen some road time, so it's got a few more bumps and bruises, but is still in pretty good shape and does what it's supposed to do perfectly.
I'd prefer to sell these together, but I can be talked into separating them. $650 for both the amp and the cabinet, $400 for just the amp, $300 for just the cabinet.
I am also potentially interested in trades for similarly valued tube amps, possibly modeling amps, acoustic and electric guitars. Partial trades + cash is also a possibility, as is breaking apart the amp/cab set for trades if you have something interesting.
Local pickup only.
