I was once told by a physician that I do indeed have Keith Richards and cockroach genes in my DNA. Keep on truckin' Keef!
He inspires me in so many ways. Who says Keef is not a good role model? ; )
Gotta love the guy, only actor in Pirates of the Caribbean that didn't need makeup ....
Ya no puede caminar
Porque no tiene
Porque le falta
Las dos patitas de atrás
According to the intermess, the cockroach in the song is missing a leg or two.
We know that Keef is not
kinda weird to say it but I hope I get old like Keith- old and still rockin' . Happy 68th? Keith. Now seriously, how many people thought they would be saying that?
WAIT! WHAT?! He's only 8 years older than me???! I thought he was at least 80 by now!
It's not the vintage, it's the mileage.
Keef's birthday was Dec. 18 1943, makes him 69 the way I do math.
He seems to be aging by the post and if thatds the case he is now 70. Any advances?
One more post and he'll be gone.
Kinda hard to tell though, mighta already happened. Long as he keeps going, no one's gonna say anything.
Alive & kickin' at age 69
The real Keith Richards died in '83.
No, seriously - it was '97.
If he ever sobers up, he'll be declared not only dead, but most sincerely dead!
Just watched Bridges to Babylon for the umpteenth amazing time. Love the everything about the band and Keith's performance. Inspiring!
I nominate the above for post of the week.
Another great Keef post Mr. Castpolymer. Thanks.
Just got the book and I'm only as far as the Stones first UK tour with Little Richard and the Everly Bros.
One of my favorite guitar players and celebs for more than one reason, Keef, don't ever change.
As they say: "The only things that will survive a nuclear war are cockroaches and Keith Richards". He hasn't changed since I saw him in '73.He sure looks good for 109!!
