Wow. I'm surprised at the poll numbers for EHX. I have never owned one. Very interesting and a great poll.

    Analogman makes some great pedals.

Jam Pedals is also making some fantastic pedals.

EHX as long they keep Muffing it up!

Recently I've developed a hobby of trying to collect the Hotone Skyline pedals... Just can't get over how small they are and that a lot of them are really good. Currently I have 7 of them and got most of them barely used for less than $45 each.

My overall experience with pedals is rather low. While I've been playing for 32 years (my skill set is not commensurate with that time...my playing/practice time dropped considerably about 20 years ago and it's been noodling here there ever since, but I'm trying to get back into some sort of groove of playing regularly).

Anyway, I've had two Boss pedals for almost all of those years, have had a Crybaby for most of that time too. I just got a TC Electronic Flashback II in November and then a Band of Gypsys Fuzz Face Mini for Christmas. So far I've got zero complaints about Boss, Dunlop, of TC. I do lust after pedals from EHX, DOD, Wampler, Seymour Duncan, and many others. At this point there's not favorite.

Thanks dude. I was sure I had created an incomplete monster but your reply soothes it a bit.

The only brands I have more than 1 of are (2) Behringer and (2) Electro Harmonix. I buy whatever strikes my fancy at that moment.

That said, I could see myself buying a couple more EHX.

I want more ZVEX but the prices!....I have been waiting since NAMM 2017 for them to release the vexter version of the candella (I believe they were calling it the VibroPhase).
+ been eyeing the little Fuzzolo & Channel 2 pedals for over a year now!

I don't use pedals all that often, but Keeley made the first pedal I have actually kept for more than a month so they get my vote.

I'll revive this thread... voted for Boss. They are available everywhere, don't cost much and they are solid quality. I have CE-5, OS-2, OD-3 and RC-3. I also have three Ibanez Tone Lok -pedals, two TCE's and a bunch of miscellaneous pedals. I think it's too bad Ibanez hasn't been too active in the pedal front in recent years. They have a great history.

I’ve bought and played tons and tons of pedals over the years, to the point where several friends have made fun of me for my pedal addiction. I love EHX for the Big Muff, Keeley does some super cool stuff, and I’ve really been digging DOD/Digitech currently, but right now most of my pedal collection is Boss. They win my vote for my personal favorite OD (BD-2w, beating out literally dozens of other ODs), favorite flanger (BF-2), craziest sounding fuzz I’ve ever had (FZ-2, and please understand I’ve had a LOT of crazy fuzzes), and best spring reverb pedal (the spring setting on the RV-6 beat multiple other competitors for the honor of my surf backup verb in case my Surfy Bear tank was unavailable).

I’m really not a “brands” kind of guy, I’ll play what I like the best regardless of who made it, but when I think of what I consider best, Boss just keeps coming up in so many categories.

    So yeah, Boss for me.

EHX as they own the most real estate on my board but if $$ was no problem, Strymon or Nocturne would be the one.
