I don't know why, but this is the first one I thought of. I've always liked the beat change near the end of the fade:

Also check out the outro jam on "Blessed Relief". Gorgeous.

Really this whole song is gorgeous.

I love that the fade out outro for Van Halen's Jump, recorded in 1983 is the intro for their song Top of the World, recorded in 1990. Check it out.

I saw them perform them together like this, with no seam, live in Dallas in 1995. It was really cool.

As a tribute to Mel Tillis, who recently passed away, "Detroit City." Bobby Bare made have had a big hit with it back in the early '60s, but Mel Tillis co-wrote it with Danny Dill.

Pretty abrupt fade out and just as Mick Taylor is starting to solo.

Like - "Save that for the stage, boy. We're almost never that kinda band in the studio."

Good on Mick and Keith for that. Kept it purer and there were enough long solo's and wankery in that era without the Stones unleashing their young guitar monkey on us all the time...

A Venture, Yes: just listen to the screaming guitar solo that Steve Howe kicks in with just as the fade cuts him off!

When a Man Loves a Woman. The horns get in for the last chorus and then just when it's cooking, they fade out. Beautiful work.

I love the cyclical riff at end, the fade makes it feel like it will go on forever
