    I'm not a fan of Radiohead, but this was cool. Good on them for handling this situation perfectly.

    I do wonder why the thief thought he could blackmail them. It's not like those tapes are anything to be ashamed of.

    I’ve got a mint Yamaha minidisc player/recorder. May dad got it in order to record music off of some early version of digital cable radio. He thought he was going to record music, then edit out the songs he didn’t want, and have a library of stuff... sort of like we all did with terrestrial radio and regular cassettes. But he soon realized that was a lot of work, and his collection of randomly recorded minidiscs began to stack up.

    A few years later he gave the player/recorder to me. I’ve never even plugged it in once.
