My plan is 3 toggles. Neck and bridge will get on/off switches and middle will get on/off/on 2p2t switch so I can get on in parallel or on in series with other pickups.

I may just do a master volume for all 3 pickups and master tone for neck and bridge pickups. May try 250k first. Going with Black Pearl on the Orange Strat partscaster.

The humbucker pickups are going into another guitar that they sounded better in.

The only time I've seen 5-way blade and 3 toggles is when double coil pickups were involved like on a H/S/H Strat style guitar for coil tapping, coil splits and phase switching.

Depends what you mean by quack. I would expect a rather conventional sound because nothing is out of phase and that configuration is so normal for 2 pickup guitars. The magnetic polarities are the same so it will not be hum cancelling.

Hendrix used to get some quack on his Strat with all 3 pickups the same wind direction and polarity in a in between selection on his wore out 3-way switch, but the pickups were close to each other.
The neck and bridge pickups are far enough away to not give that quack, like playing the neck and bridge on a older Tele.

Yes, my CP60’s Strat with the Custom 69 pickups did not come with a RWRP middle pickup. The 2 and 4 positions aren’t nearly as pronounced as a typical RWRP and it’s as buzzy as a single position but there is a quack present for sure.

Today, after a flight , I slept a little. What do you think I did after?
I did not read a book, did not watch a movie...
    I did winding the pickups...
Earlier, I would have thought - I'm crazy. Hmm ...funny!

I love the dark sound! I don’t usually even like stray pickups as a rule, but I really like the sound of those in every position… Especially the neck, it had a sound that almost reminded me of a Charlie Christian sound. They would be amazing for playing jazz. Please let me know if you make a telecaster set with this same kind of tonality.

Thank you for you liked my work!!!
Yes, I will make Tele of pickups. I'm already scrolling through the design options in my head. After all, I'm on the website of Telecaster fans!!!

I now have a primary task: starting my website.
After that, I'll build Tele pickups.
I'll tell you a secret: I even ordered parts for build of Tele )))

Can you give me a link to listen to your of desired sound?

    Hey Vlad,

For Telecaster tones, I like a growl rock tone, like Jimmy Page on early zeppelin records. I can get that with a “vintage” wound Alnico 5 bridge. I’m not sure what the specs of vintage wound are and I have an Alnico 2 pickup to try but my guitar is out on loan so, that will have to wait.

For a jazzy tone, I like what Bill Frissel gets. Here’s an example:

Andrew, thank you for your recommendation!
I once listened to Bill Frissel and was admired by his playing!
    But, I forgot about it!
By the way, this tone is very similar to my Dark tone.
I do not know with what settings Bill Frissel received this tone (it is pickups or amplifier settings)!!
And I know how to get it on my pickups!
But, only this is a pickups with a low output!

Tell me, is it a problem for the guitarist a low output of pickups?
I'm talking about increasing Gaine or Volume from 8 to 12 min.

But, it gives very interesting tonal possibilities.

When I bought a first pickups from GFS ALNICO V (60's series)
these pickups also had a reasonably low output.

Where did I get the idea that these pickups have a low output?
I wound up my pickups ALNICO V and these pickups gave me a more output!

    P.S.
In my opinion, a high output of pickups it is a problem. I was at a loss to get a clean sound for recording. The sound was have permanent light crunch or dirt.

It's a bit different for me. When it comes to Strat and Tele singles, I tend to like the vintage wind even though the Tele pickups have more output.
Lipstick Tubes and Gold Foils were low output and they sound great to me. The newer versions are higher output, but seem to lack that same tonal character the originals had and I thick it has a lot to do with the magnets.
Filtertron's in the vintage vein are great. Vintage wind Gibson style humbuckers leave me cold though. I prefer them to be slightly overwound - so far.

I'd love to know if you can get that neck sound of the dark strat pickups in a tele neck...maybe without a cover...I suspect a cover would mess with that tone. For a bridge, the Cavalier Fat Lion is one of my favorites. Lots of demos of that out there...including a couple I did for jazz players.

Honestly, I’d like to hear your take on a telecaster bridge pick up.

Thank you so very much for sharing this clip with us. That made my day! I only play like this once in a red moon (when I'm truly inspired), and I wish that I had the ability to write songs like this all the time. I only have a couple that sound close, but not the same - inspired by the music of the fifties.
