How about one of my late father's favorites, "The Blizzard" by Jim Reeves. 1960, I think?

"V's of birds" by Dwight Yoakam

"2000 miles" by the Pretenders. Yes it does mention Christmas but it's not really a Christmas song as such

My daughter was in the jump rope club in elementary school, and since we don't celebrate or observe any of the holidays, I asked if I could record a.few songs about the winter for the kids to use in their winter program.

My drummer and i wrote and recorded two winter/snow songs so she could perform with her clubman...and the kids loved those tunes as much or more than the "tradition" tunes...

It doesn't snow where I live during winter, but it rains a heck of a lot. Therefore it has to be Led Zeps "Rain Song" for me.

One of my favorite songs of all-time. Every time I hear it, I can feel the snowflakes softly falling.

    Ahmad Jamal's version:

The original, I can't decide which I like better, the horns kind of bother me on this one, too harsh.

It's ten degrees and getting colder down by Boulder Dam today.

(Pick your favorite version--they're both good.)
