Boss TU-10. Has two different display modes. LED for dark stage and LCD that you can actually see under sunny conditions.

I've had clip on tuners disappear and magically show up on other people's headstocks at other gigs, so I'm careful about the more expensive ones like the TC Electronics Polytune - but it's exceptionally fast and accurate and there is actually a benefit to strumming all six open strings and having it tell you which ones are out (even with a capo).

Barring that, if you take the approach of having a few and tossing them in various cases, the less expensive Planet Waves (D'Addario) tuners are great. they even have a very inconspicuous one that fits in the sound hole.

i've been using one for 3 or 4 years now and I agree. It even shows up pretty well in direct sunlight.

Peterson hands down best tuner I've used!

I have an older Intellitouch (Made in USA!) that bounces around the house. Same batteries for 3 years....

Ever have one of those Sabine contact tuners? They had a "sticky" back...not like sticky gooey but would adhere to guitar surface. Small and unobtrusive... you could leave on a whole jam and no one would know it was there.

That's the problem with Snarks (by Fischer Price :D ) looks like babies toy sticking off the guitar fercrissakes....

I have the daddario micro tuner and a tc unitune. The unitune works best.
    The micro tuner looks stealthiest.

My first clip-on was an Intellitouch.....over twenty years ago. Still works great. The clip-on "arm" broke at one point, so I contacted them. They sent out a new "arm" quickly and at no charge. Can't ask for better customer service than that!
