Hey all! I am trying to locate a source for the mounting plate into which one screws A Mini Humbucker. I would love to find the plate type like on the Gibson Tribute Les Paul if possible. Google has led me to drawings on making a set, but I would really like to purchase a set instead. Allparts has said that they do not carry it, and I'm still waiting to hear back from Lollar.

Does anybody else have a source for these? Thanks!!!

Thanks for the link but I am looking for the PLATE not the RING. The one that sits in the bottom of the cavity.

    Thanks though!!!

Not quite. Those are still a part of the pickup. I am looking for the part down in the cavity. The metal piece attached to body of the guitar to which the pickup itself attaches to mount it to the guitar.

Any good machine shop could make one like the one on the Les Paul.

Probably only for a few dollars.

Make one yourself, only looks like a piece of aluminium.

So I cannot find these plates anywhere. I want to be able to mount my mini-humbuckers to a plate in the bottom of the cavity rather than straight to the wood.
I have spoken with a machine shop that will do a run of 80 for me at $5/each. I only need 2 so PM me if you are interested at $6.50/each shipped to you in the lower 48. I don't need to make money on these, I just want a nice set for myself and want to see if others are interested as well.

It's just a small piece of metal with 4 holes in it. Get a drill.

I appreciate the insight. I have done that and have a pair for myself if I want.

I also recognize that there is a small, but real, demand for these and I figure why not have all of us go in together on some that are production quality.

You don't have to buy any.

I mounted mini-humbuckers directly into the wood, in my PRS McCarty Soapbar.
