Where do you get custom pickguards made?

I've used WDMusic and the results were satisfactory but the price was higher than I'd hoped. I'm wondering if there are companies I should consider for a custom pickguard (for firebird pickups that don't use the Gibson or SD footprint).

There was a guy on eBay who used to make custom pick guards but he passed away a few years back.

Chandler Guitars is a good place to get all sorts of pickguards.

A piece of acrylic scrap, a saw, some files and everything goes fine...

Funny you ask... I talked to Chris from Pick of the Ricks today and he recommended Pickguardian (https://www.pickguardian.com). I'm looking for a spare black upper guard for my Ric 360 (my original has some writing on it... ;)).

You should also check out Decoboom... I love their stuff for something unique.

I have had a good experience with Pickguardian. Very meticulous concerning specs and measurements.

Me too, but honestly I work for low single digit $ per hour doing so. ;)

Especially with a Strat/Tele type switch involved.

I don't think they've been in business for 3 years or so.

I’ve had good luck with Pickguard Heaven (Pickguards.us).

Easy to work with with on custom items tons of options for materials and standard templates.

Making the pattern for the first one of that type is a little time consuming but after that they go pretty quick on the router table and drill press.
