Oddly enough I really enjoy playing an Esquire through my old Marshall 50w Bass half stack late at night when my wife is asleep.

With the amp turned down and the guitar turned down, the no-treble-bleed guitar volume takes enough edge off the (Tele bridge pickup) tone to sound sweet and fat at very low volume.

it’s not really a Tele amp, but I love playing through it with all my guitars.

    It was me heh :D

Nope, topography is pretty much stock except I added reverb to the 'normal' channel. Not a full tonestack bypass, but a 250k mid pot lets you dial in curves that suck a lot less gain than the stock values. The rest was mainly tweaking the cathode/plate values on the first two triodes, and the PI. And NFB reduction in the PI. The phase inverter/output stages seems to add a lot of harmonic content, now, in addition to the preamp being quite gainy.
The amp also has the push/pull master volume boost, which sounds a lot better than others lead me to believe, I don't really use it, as the vibrato channel gets distorted enough without it engaged.

Don't though. I have a wooden cab with no tolex and it got dings from just moving it through different doorways in the same house.

Put me in the "really hard to choose just one" category.

My AC15-HW1 is pretty awesome and how can I not choose the old Deluxe Reverb I have??

But right now, I'm finding that my Mission 5E3 is the amp I most enjoy playing through.

I put a delay pedal in front of it for a little "space" and I jumper the channels together, plugging into the Bright input.
It makes every guitar I own sound great.

I play THROUGH my amps, not ON them. Are you height-challenged ?

Right now believe it or not, it's a Fender Champion 600 with a feedback loop mod through a 60s Kustom 2x10 PA cab with a little overdrive. Sounds killer.

'66 Ampeg Jet. I run a basic EQ through it and a bit of reverb and delay for a slight slap back sound. Great with a Tele. If I need a little more I move up to a '65 Reverberocket. 18 watts to the Jets 12. Both great amps that appear to be indestructible.

My avatar is one of 2 Gibson Crestline Falcons, GA19RVT, that I own.
Last Friday I set one up in the music room at home as the wife was gone for the day.
Big jazzy sound, makes me play with thumb and fingers more.
The reverb and tremolo are so sweet. My audience(the wife) loves it.

What’s this “Boner” amp pictured here?

Does it produce a woody tone?
