I think that's super fun looking. Is that a cedar body? Like the black over it, whatever the body's made of.

AHHHH CEDAR!!!! I've been wanting to do a cedar build for a very long time. I just freaking love the smell of that stuff when it's cut / sanded / etc.

I got to work on my Nissan replacing the ECM, draining old fuel and replacing with fresh fuel, cleaning spark plugs, cleaning fuel rail and injectors, checking coil packs and checking more sensors than I wanted to. Yay!

I'm so glad that everything in my car is controlled by the computer.

I got the POS running so that's a plus, but I'm remembering why I got out of Auto Mechanics 10 years ago.:D

    I wish I had a late 60's to early 70's car or/and truck. Yeehaw

modding a Harbor Freight arbor press so I can retire the fret hammer and press in frets from now on.
some good guidance archived here and on youtube.
drilled the 3/8" receiver hole for the fret caul shaft in the ram bar, and drilled and tapped for the retainer thumbscrew.
this is one of the few times that cheap soft Chinese steel is a blessing.
the bent bolts in the head box are for locking the ram in whatever position.
I'm gonna rig up a rube goldberg-esque spring return system to lift caul off fretboard when handle is released.
Fashioned a 24" support bed for the neck out of hard maple, but it didnt make the picture.
Fret caul and inserts on order.

Its first victims will be these two 2-piece necks, one of which will hopefully end up on the Cabronita body. Along with some sea foam green and two TV Jones FilterTrons.
