That's beautiful Marty. Will it too remain "unfinished" in honor of other pending projects?

All kidding aside, do you plan on putting a finish on, or leave it natural?

I am not a fan of natural finish, but that is really nice looking wood, and I don't think I would put any color on it, just something to protect.

Just my 2 cents, and probbly ain't worth that.

    Cheers,
    Jim

I have always wanted a coral paint job. This is kind of Nuno N5 looking right now.

Coral is almost at the top of controversial Strat factory colors but I think the honor belongs to the Antigua Burst! I double dog dare ya Marty!

It's the black limba kit from PGK.
Those pics are 1 coat of shellac. Glue will be next followed with more shellac to grain fill.

There's a thread over in finely finished.

Making a "better" youth sized junior pick guard. I had a few done, but wasn't 100% happy with the lines and the way they follow the body. I know the originals aren't exact either, but I like things that fit just right. Something was a little goofy with my old template.

Still have some work to do on it.

    Howdy,

I'm new here. I just finished the body work on my esquire and I'm jusyt looking for feedback. It's a converted Nashville. I just have to get the Pup soldered back in and string her up.

    Any comments

So this is pretty much why I haven't built any guitars in such a long time... I've been working on building a car for an international engineering competition called Formula SAE. Basically a scaled down formula one car. Finally got it off the workbench and 3600km across the continent to Michigan International Speedway for competition!

Just wanted to share with you guys because I remember when I first got on here I was like 14 or so and had no clue which direction was up!

A fine looking bunch of young men there B. Are you the 4th from the left? It's been quite a while since I saw you in a video clip.

I am on the very right, with the red race suit half on.

I'll see if I can find a good video to share.

    Some specs?
-CBR600RR powerplant making up to 70hp. We could make oodles more, but we need (by rule) to have a 20mm restriction diameter somewhere along the intake.
-688lbs wet without driver. It's one of the biggest and heaviest ones at the competition, next year we're aiming for 500lbs or less wet.
-top speed is still unknown as our test track is a school parking lot.
-Unequal length converging a-arm suspension with adjustable anti-roll in the rear
