10-46 pure nickel , dead as they come/dead outta the package.
Sometimes sub in an .11 high E
D'addario 10-52 for the last 28 years. I've experimented, but keep going back........
I use d addario roundwound 12s with a wound G on my two Jazz telecasters ( I also usually tune them down to E flat or D standard). All my other teles get 10s.
I tried some 9.5s recently but they are still too little for me, too easy to bend. I like 11s for feel, but play better on 10s if that makes any sense. Basically I want my electric to feel more like an acoustic but then I can't play it as durn fast as I like to.
Good ol Super Slinkeys just like the ones that came out in the 70's. I've tried to go in all sorts of directions on strings but always come back to them!
Hmm, never heard of 10.5s. It's not to surprising since there's such a thing as 9.5s, but I've never thought of it.
I discovered 9.5-44s a couple of years ago but now I need to change up to 10s I think, a bit too light for me I've discovered.
I use a set you didn't offer in your survey, 10 - 52 as my avatar shows. I use this gauge on all my electric guitars.
Same here. Over the years I went from 11 to 10 to 10.5 and back to 10.
I also use this set on a couple of my Teles, everybody else get 10-46.
I use a set not available in your poll: 11-52. D'Addario EXL116 to be exact.
D'Addario EXL110w Nickel Wound Electric 10-46 Regular Light w/ Wound 3rd
On Tele, hardtail Strat and LPJ
Fender Super Bullets 3250LR Nickelplated Steel 09-46 Guitar Strings
On my Strat with a wobbly bridge thing.
Am I the only person still using bullets?
9s on the Tele and the doubleneck
10s on my Strat and my hollow body
Never, I was using 8-38 before I found these....
It looks like those strings need to be changed. I see a lot of sweat buildup.
I use Fender 150's in 10-46 gauge, and they are pure nickel.
I know a lot of players who swear by 11s and 12s, but I've got my action set higher on myASAT Classic and the 10s work just right to my ear.
10/46 but I replace the 10 with an 11.
