For me it's the Strymon Deco for anything to do with playing classic rock. The saturation effect on it emulates the fat tone you get recording on magnetic tape. I love it.

My amp. I use pedals. But no longer use them for my base tone.

Dyna Comp For me. I use about 5 different settings from barely noticeable to full on squishyness but has become a staple on my board for my tonezz

Yeah, I gotta go with my tweed amp. Pedals, for me, are for tonal effects not tone--reverb, delay, tremolo etc.

Well, my EHX Sould Food modified by Alchemy is just delicious and has pushed my "go-to" Timmy off to the side. For now....

This. A good amp wont really need any pedals, with maybe the exception of Modulation/Time effects.

Sole Mate Spring Reverb. I use it with an 66 Ampeg Jet for small gigs and with a 65 Tremolux for bigger gigs.

For my vht special 6 i leave a boss fdr1 always on. It makes up for the lack of a tone stack and reverb plus it ads a nice preamp fatness and tremolo if needed. The special 6's pentode/cathode switch is where i get my drive from, so just add a wah and a tuner and thats me good to go.

Definitely my tuner pedal. Greatest type of pedal ever made!

The J Rockett Melody, I don;t use much of the gain structure, a little in but not much, I mainly use the amp tone. But the EQ on the front of it is crazy what you can do with it. Mine is set up like a Tube Screamer but you can do much much more than that with it. In fact it is almost limit less with what you can do.
