    Hello everyone,

I recently picked up the harmonica, and I heard this old John Hartford song covered by the turnpike troubadours. Right now I am trying to figure out what key harmonica this is. I feel like the song is in A, so wouldn't that imply a D harp? I am not sure if this is correct, and am just looking for some verification. If anybody can help me out, I would appreciate it very much.

    Have a happy 4th!

Just played over this and it is a D harp being used.

John Hartford was a fine writer and musician; the river ran through him.
