As a sequel to "What Chord Do You Usually Strum First?", what is your least favourite chord?
open F...ive tried to do it...just not one i can do...i guess sometimes when you start playing guitar at 30 or so compared to 12 does hurt a person
Open G 320003
The G on the high E string may as well not be there. The open strings are too loud and ring too long. #firstchordproblems
So if our favourite chord was our Pro-Chord, you want us to mention our Con-chord?
Open B7 is always hard for me to get my stupid fingers in the right places for.
"Dischord" is the preferred method for guitar instructors in Brooklyn. "Dischord goes like dis"
"Datchord" is another great teaching method.
Switching to Dm gets me. I have a hard time nailing it in the moment of need.
haha! dats right!
I like all the chords, but I have a serious distain for the key of Eb.
I'm cool with anything else but I can't wrap my mind around anything other than a three chord song in Eb. Every once in awhile a keyboard player or horn player will call "rhythm changes in Eb" which means, 1-6-2-5 and I'll have to transpose.
I know it's fairly easy, I know the chords, but I hate the position, guess I have a bad attitude towards Eb.
"Open B7 is always hard for me to get my stupid fingers in the right places"
+1 on acoustic guitar especially
I like all chords. But keys? I don't like A major. I know, everyone else loves it.
For some reason I just can't get my pinky into a 5th string rooted 6th chord (pinky on the 5th string):
So I usually just play it like this (with index and middle):
I just can't get my pinky up to the 5th sting in time. I can do when not comping and just fingering chords, but just can't get it in up to speed. One of the first chords that I just decided to change the fingerings for--most this is not the case for.
Ironically I use 6th chords all the time. My least favorite chord is probably a Major 7th--just no edge to it at all.
Diminished - they never seem to easily come to hand (or fingers) after the previous chord.
The big E always does it for me.
Barred F. Hard to make. Sounds like crap. Should be a law against it.
That E Refrigerator chord that you posted on the aforementioned thread.
I can't make any money with that chord.
Ken Lasaine can probably find a way to use that chord in "Wooly Bully".
I tend to do em like this
x8979x F dim
4x343x Ab dim (low E w/ the thumb)
A ripcord. I hate the thought of jumping out of an airplane.
The freakin' chord that the other guy is playing and I can't make it out!
going from C to Dm
