Another vote for blueburst. This is near identical to my 94 telecaster plus
Ocean Metallic Turquoise
Daphne blue for me. It took me a while to find what I wanted and now that I have it, I plan to hold onto it.
Gotta be Fiesta Red Am. Vint. '64RI, with after sales aged pearl pickguard ... and a Candy Cola Red Am Std. Strat ...
Oh Yeah ...
To me, nothing beats the whiteguard look.
I'm a fan of the whiteguard look (hence the AV58), and the classic solid colors (AV64). The CAR on the AV64 is more of a ruby slipper red, to me. I like it more than most CARs. Also a huge fan of what I call robin's egg blue. It's Daphne, but not yellowed, and definitely not sonic. Like this MJT Strat I assembled for my son.
I like Olympic or Vintage White, with rosewood board, parchment guard, but perhaps more so on a Strat.
There's a double-bound fat-necked Tele in my future. Daphne with white, or (un-yellowed) Surf / white. Or, for something completely different, I wouldn't mind burgundy mist, with white binding and guard, and gold hardware. I'd probably have to wear a fancy cowboy shirt just to play it at home, though.
White guard for me too, though I'm also rather taken with my 'new' two tone sunburst as well:
Dealer photo as I haven't got round to taking some of my own yet:
Sonic Blue and Faded Sonic Blue of course.
My teles :
She's just parts for the moment, but I'm really digging the Graffiti Yellow!
Something seasonal for me. As the leaves turn brown and red...
Fell I love with this color the first time I saw it. Blizzard White; maple neck.
Mystic Seafoam and Crimson Red Transparent... I love 'em both!
For tele I love butterscotch, but, I have a lil drop for sonic blues finishes
Looks superb, must be something to see in the flesh if photo not doing it justice
I'm a fan of the burst stuff. The hot rail is out of the tele and the stock pickups are back in. I don't play heavy crap anymore.
