    I was wanting to do some Clash. I’ve already covered London Calling, Train in Vain, Should I Say, and Straight to Hell.

    What’s some good clash to play?

    I hear some ‘Not Fade Away’, ‘Hand Jive’, and ...

    Back around 25 years ago my friends and I did Guns on the Roof. I think it was just four chords over and over again. Fun though.

    I like to do Gates of the West. It has a distinction of being a song they never played live, so no matter how you interpret it, you’re right! I also like doing Rudy Can’t Fail, in addition to other ones mentioned here.

    Oh - and Death or Glory, though I’ve never had the guts to do that one in public.

    Big, BIG Clash fan here!
    I can play almost all of their songs. On top of my list there are:

    (White man) in hammersmith palais (Joe's favourite)
    Janie Jones
    Something about England (great lyrics!)
    Ghetto defendant
    Complete control
    I fought the law
    Junco partner
    Police on my back (the intro!!!)
    English civil war
    Garageland
    Tommy Gun
    Bankrobber

    And I could go on and on...
    Enjoy the only band that matters!

    I've played different Clash songs in different bands. The songs include:

    (1) Complete Control (which is my personal favorite);
    (2) Career Opportunities;
    (3) Janie Jones;
    (4) London Calling;
    (5) White Man In Hammersmith Palais;
    (6) Police and Thieves;
    (7) Safe European Home;
    (8) Clash City Rockers.

    I've always thought 'The Right Profile' is a very underrated Clash song.

    'White Man In Hammersmith Palais' should be the GB National Anthem...

    We've been doing Police on My Back and Brand New Cadillac for ages (neither of which are original Clash songs, but that's how we know them).

    Back in the day I did Death or Glory, London Calling, Rudie Can't Fail, and Straight To Hell. I'll assume when you play these that it's in the correct venue, audience and also assuming they are actually listening to the lyrics.

    The Clash, still the only band that matters.

    It's not a Clash original but my old band used to play Armagideon Time. Always went down really well.
