Only 1 local music store in my town so when opportunity presented I visited a GC on an out of town trip. The Epiphone Hollow body guitars looks so shiny, pretty and had such good prices that I walked out of there with a bottle of Gibson Guitar polish. Makes sense right?

Epiphone is a great value but a bottle of polish is more in line with my disposable income.

I gotta say the red one with the cream binding did catch my eye when I braved the local GC to grab something the other day.

You will get no argument from me about Epiphone Hollow and Semi-Hollow guitars. But I have never tried Gibson Guitar Polish so I can't comment on your actual purchase. Casino 335.jpg

Seeing all those glossy shiny guitars just reminds me I need to put sunblock on my bald patch these days.

I cannot risk the wrath of my better half if I expand the guitar fleet so I shall stay well away from temptation.

Most men find that to be both the greatest benefit and the greatest challenge of being married.:cool::D

I bought a bottle of Epiphone guitar polish, but I put a Gibson logo on it.

Does this mean we can look forward to a Gibson QC rant in the near future?

Polish...Good Choice, save you a few farthings. Epi's do look nice, and sound great too. If the store has 10 in stock, I'd play everyone of them to get the best of the lot.

I have an epiphone es-335 pro in iced tea burst, I have nothing but positive things to say about it. After a setup and fret polish, it plays great. It has nice powerful humbuckers, I don't use the coil taps. I have Fenders for my single coil sounds. At 10% the price of a comparable Gibson, its a great value.

I have an Epi Dot. Great guitar, especially for the money.

I polished my Fender acoustic bass and no QC issues so far.

Epiphone guitar polish is just as good as Gibson polish.

Love the look of your sunburst 335, I've begun setting aside money to buy one for myself.

I have three Epis, a Sheraton, a bass and an acoustic. Best bang for the buck out there for all three IMO. If I had the space, I'd easily have 6 Epiphones.

I think I can definitively say that in blindfolded A/B testing people could not distinguish between the performance of Epiphone polish and Gibson polish.

Epiphone are awesome at the moment. I think that the current guitars are making the 'buy and old Korean Epi not a modern Chinese one' argument a bit old hat. My Wildkat is superb and all the Casinos, 339s etc. I've played lately have been fantastic. If it wasn't for an upcoming vacation I'd have bought a couple this year.

I bought an Epiphone Hummingbird because I could not afford a Gibson Hummingbird :)

    Now that's willpower. ;)

Epi is offering some extremely nice guitars for very little money these days.
