Pizza: Hank Mobley says "No Room for Squares"; John Mayer says "Room for Squares", therefore the claim that pizza tastes better in squares is an outright declaration of fan crush on John Mayer.

Apparently, the word used in Wisconsin for "dairy farmer" is "cowboy". How tragically precious.

Chili: Certain Millenial Philosophers would have you believe that any kind of legume, including soy is an acceptable ingredient in Chili. Anyone who truly cares about real chili knows that chili, true chili, the real-approved-by-the-celestial-spheres-of-the-universe chili has no beans. None. All arguments to the contrary are fanciful artifice, strutting and fretting (some pointy headed guitar) upon the stage, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

    Don't eat the yellow snow.

Lightnin' has been knowing these things for a real, long time.

And apparently, the word used in the southwest for ranch-hand is cowboy. That's precious too, in a backwards "let's dress up and play make-believe" way, I'd say.

Hot dogs are better with ketchup.

Socks with sandals are perfectly fine formal wear.

The Silver Sky is a great guitar.

Sorry, have to disagree. Sicilian style pizza is the perfect platform for square slices. :)

Beatles = the most overrated band of all time

    AND YET

The band that comes closest to deserving being overrated to that degree would be the Beatles.

    AND YET

Still definitely overrated. No band ever was or ever will be what the Superfans want the Beatles to have been

Counterpoint - the edge crust is one of the best parts of pizza. Your precept only works if one gets to the square cut pie first, and has no compunctions about taking all the edge pieces first. Leaving the floppy, edge-crustless remnants for the late-arrivers.
