i understand that the massive routing was already there (at least in part)
and if the wood is heavy its hopefully also hard...
i made a larger routing into a alder strat body to fit electronics for a old fender elite pickups...later i got cracks near the end of the neck and ended up filling the rout with ash before rerouting farther from end of neck.
nice work all around, i sorta like the look of the more extreme variations, but would choose a fender style outline for comfort !

I'm looking at doing a Jeff beck telegib build and realise I may have strings not matching up with the HB pole pieces.
