Wait...what was on the wall at the local Guitar Center?!

I don't often visit my local Guitar Center but I had the opportunity yesterday since I was in the area and had two hours to kill between errands. Typically, I wander aimlessly around the perimeter of the store slowly spiraling toward the middle...finding little of interest, I'm usually back out the door in 30 minutes or less. I'd love to say this particular trip was different...

However! Since none of the guitars hanging on the walls were of any interest and I was just kind of staring past them into space I did notice something interesting *behind* them... The wall was covered with life-sized, faded & scuffed imagery of Crate 4x12s! Weird...

What's the most interesting thing on the walls at your local GC?

Sounds like a 'home construction site' band name, the Plaster Blasters.

Not to be confused with the prior infamous Plaster Casters (wink, wink).

The walls are the only thing visible at our local GC.

When you say the word "inventory" they just smile and walk away...

A beautiful sea foam green US G&L ASAT. A cool Music Man combo, and a silver face Pro reverb.

I've gotten a few cool things there at reasonable prices. This 1986 Taylor 714 for a little more than a grand:

And this sea foam green Prosonic for about $750 IIRC

Less and less cool things, but I still pop in a couple times a month.

Last summer NOLA GC had a MIJ 70's resonator 5string banjo of unknown brand with the coolest big old eagle inlaid on the back of said resonator in moto. It was being boxed up to ship out on an internet sale.
It reminded me of a jacket Elvis would wear.
I had no need or desire to own it, but it made me smile.

Fountain Valley, California. I have three others within 20 minutes of the house. They have another wall with basses and hollow bodies and used guitars that is about half the size of that one.

Looks like the faux amps behind these are Marshall...much sexier than Crate! ;)
