$99 for everything
Thanks DaveKS for the heads up. I'm in his list now, so I received the email yesterday. I'm definitely getting the Pinball and have a designated spot on my new board, but I went way over my budget on a guitar, so I'm just gonna have to wait.
Boom, ordered the tremolo. Thx.
Did you have to wait long for your 2400 baud modem to load up the order form?
Mine is 1,200 and I have use a real phone dumbell phone in order to get it to work. http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/classics-rock/surf-the-web-on-your-commodore-64/
No compressor. Thanks anyway. Dangit.
Sshhh! Keep it quiet until I can scrape up some money.
Looks like the tremolos are all gone. Dang it
Let us know how it goes. I've got the Old School which was the daddy of those, f'n great trem pedal. Mike Herman demo of Rise and Fall sounds great but online demos of trems always miss the mark in how they actually feel/interact with your particular guitar/pu and amps gain range.
I figured that blue beauty in 1st post would install some lust in someone here.
No, he hasn't made those for a while, but... from his newsletter.
Speaking of that upcoming product launch
When I launch the Klein Bottle on Kickstarter, it will also give me an opportunity to build my original, discontinued lineup. This includes any of the following pedals:
Alpha Dog vintage distortion
Blueprint analog-voiced delay + modulation
Blues King low-gain overdrive
Choral Reef analog chorus
Dark Horse hard-edge distortion
Dragon Hound parallel OD/dist
Fiery Red Horse fuzzstortion
Focus mid booster
Fuzz Duo hybrid fuzz
Ice Scream mid boosted overdrive
Merman transparent overdrive
Mini Mu autowah
Mobius Strip dual delay
Old School vintage tremolo
Pale Horse dynamic overdrie
Rocket EQ 3-band EQ
The Scream classic overdrive
Tractor Beam analog phaser
The Triplet compressor/octave/distortion
Triumvirate multiband distortion
White Horse optical compressor
Woodchipper bass octave fuzz
Yodeler delay + verb
The reason I discontinued these pedals in the first place was because I couldn't keep up with orders while teaching full time. In a Kickstarter, I can schedule the time I need to make a large batch. After many requests to build discontinued pedals, this was a great opportunity to give my customers what they have been asking for.
But there's one thing I've learned from his previous crowdsourcing projects is it's no place to be if your in a hurry or impatient. But if you can wait it out price wise their usually a hot deal.
VFE makes great stuff. The Scream is the best boutique TS I've ever owned (still prefer a boring old TS afterall though. I find too much to tweak means settings get changed on the way to the gig and mid set up and make my sound wrong).
Can't say enough for the Old School and White Horse. Genius.
If he does the compressor at that price, I'm in. How can I be advised of when the crowdsourcing event takes place?
Sign up for his newsletter probably best way.
The White Horse is worth twice the price IMO ... oh wait, I hope Peter doesn't read this before you get yours.
Oh, and realistically $99, probably not. $120 yea maybe.
This time want to snap up a mobuis strip...so to all you others...back away from slowly.
Heck, I can get close that used. Found one earlier today for 100.00 plus 8.00 shipping.
Is that with the box?
That's quite a memory you have there. Good question, but I honestly don't care about the box.
Got a Marshall Blues Breaker clone today in the mail. Guess what? NO BOX!!!
I'm just not that excited by the prospect of cardboard.
