Well, at $40 tax in thrift shop, I thought I'd take it home and at least test it. I have a couple of days to exchange it, but i don't need that many golf shirts. lol

Pots are scratchy, the grill is missing, but it all seems to work fine, it's loud, I will clean her up and post it for sale.

I read somewhere they make for decent acoustic amps, but i scored a nice Motion Sound KM-12 for the same price a while back.

    What say you all?

    thanks for looking and feedback

Nice jazz amp; does most clean things well, but is voiced a bit darker than the usual country amps (Fender Peavey etc.) I sold mine (also found in a thrift) to a 30 something guy w/ a Epi Joe Pass who was going to "learn Jazz"..I often wonder how that worked out...

Forget about any built in distortion it may have,I can usually get something useful out of most SS amps but Yamaha's take a lot of dialing in; a pedal is much easier, this series is probably the most difficult of the bunch.
