    hi guys

Just got myself a redwood T2 telecaster and I have some questions

    1) can this guitar take 11s

    2) I want to upgrade to 3x brads saddles can I just upgrade the saddles or do I need to handle the ashtray to?

I know it’s not an expensive guitar but it’s all I can afford at the moment so making the most of my situation.

    One of these?

    1) It should take 11 gauge, but you'll more than likely need to tweak the nut slots to suit + the truss rod will probably need a tweak afterwards too.

    2) It's a six saddle bridge. You'd have to drill the holes in the rear of the ashtray for the screws for a three saddle.. You could replace the ashtray with a three saddle version. It may need new mounting holes drilling.

Not suggesting you buy the above cheapie from Ebay, but it does show the four mounting screws at the rear. Yours has three. It also gives the dimensions. Measure up, decide, go shopping.
