Not gonna lie, I'm smitten.
Just don't stop too short!
An Army buddy of mine actually traded a 1969 Jaguar cake for a new VW Thing!! UNBELIEVABLE...
My first thought was a Gremlin, then a Pacer. I had a '59 Renault Dauphine during college, a pleasantly homely and humble machine. The old bubbleback Volvos were cool, too, and the Columbo Peugeot.
My sister had a Studebaker Lark, ogly metallic bronze but like the one Chicago Matt posted in #59. Thang was a rocket!
Now there's an oxymoron, all pickup trucks are ugly.
What's a "Jaguar cake"?
That would be easy to park...
And on the other end of the scale...
We were a Rambler Family. We had a '59 Super and a couple of Americans, one a station wagon like the one pictured earlier.
Then there were the Nash Ramblers...
The original military version it was based on was amphibian.
Ok you got me bang to rights
Def agree - I'd love the high output turbo version just for fun. But the wife thinks they're too ugly ;-)
I reckon in a few years the Nissan Cube will be on lists like this.
I'm surprised we've got to 4 pages without Tatra being mentioned
I had a friend who had an old Frogeye. Very envious I was.
There are maniacs still racing them:
The three headlights on that Tatra reminds me of the Tucker Torpedo...
Bugeye Sprite, needs work.
