    You really have to set the heights by ear. Start with the high side of vintage specs (in the 2-3/64 range on the bridge and 3-4/64 on the neck), turn your amp up and, if necessary, adjust downward from there.

    The variation between bass & treble sides on tele pickups is much smaller than on Strats, so you may only need the bass side 1/64 lower than the treble side if at all.
