I herebye commence the highly coveted and revered Triple Telecaster Club!
What's a Triple Telecaster?
Start reading and get your credit card ready.
I knew it before I even opened the thread. I'm so tempted by these. Thank god I'm broke.
Reporting in! Got mine Friday. Crazy fantastic guitar. Mine arrived perfect, no damage or defects, actually setup just the way I'd have done it. Didnt have to touch a wrench to it. It's going to stay in its stock form.
My guitar is scheduled for delivery tomorrow.
There's only one problem... the name. It *should* be called the "Nigel Tufnel Esquire".
As Nige would ask "What's better than an Esquire with one lead pickup? An Esquire with two lead pickups? No, that wouldn't do, would it? This one has three."
I have 3 telecasters does that count?
Having 3 bridge pickups, perhaps it should have been called a Triple Esquire
Some of you guys will have to give us a personal review with maybe a video or any audio clip. I'm very curious about what a Tele bridge pickup sounds like in the neck position.
But......not quite curious enough to spend $400 to find out.
Thanks Captain, that demo gave me an idea what the Nigel Tufnel model could sound like.
Interesting especially the neck only and neck middle positions. Thanks!
I have one. Nice guitar.
eye've got one, it feels like a tele body , neck ,and weight wise, the difference is subtle between pickup switch positions. each pickup by itself sounds great [ 1.3.5] positions 2 and 4 have a slight quack. meyene was a demo sold as new off of reverb.com a few months ago for about 499.00 or so and eye thought [and still do] think it was a good deal. for what some people are getting as a deal now ,eye cant see you going wrong.there's a larger thread in the fender tele discussion forum near top of index page under fender classic player triple tele that has lots of info
Yes, you can order pickguards for the Classic Player Triple Tele from WD Music!
If you're interested, pick out a color from http://www.wdmusic.com/pickguard_te_100.html (those prices will apply to your order). Then send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, color choice and shipping address. They will place the order and have a paypal request sent to your email address for payment.
(If anyone knows of anyone else that can do replacement pickguards for this model, please post away.)
And here's what it looks like fitted:
A perfect fit! (I know this info is posted across several pages on the "other thread", but I wanted to put it all in one spot.)
Very nice. I'm thinking tort...
Please post a photo if you go that route. I'm sure others on the fence would appreciate it.
I'm thinking new pickguard with no neck and middle, and an ashtray....
